Then she began to write.

For a minute she wrote swiftly, nervously, and had nearly finished a page when Kitty said to her, "I think I had better see what you have written.

I don't think you are the best judge.

You see, I have known him better than you for the last five years, and I am the best judge please, I mean it in the rightest, kindest way," she added, as she saw Mona shrink.

It was like hurting a child, and she loved children--so much.
