Young Theodore--Haygarth Judson as he calls himself--is very thick with Judson of St.Gamaliel's, they were at college together, you see: and fine airs they give themselves on the strength of a couple of years or so at Cambridge.

Those two get on very well together.

But Judson of the Lady-lane Mills don't speak to either of 'em when he meets 'em in the street, and has been known to cut 'em dead in my room.
