126/237 Camped on a small patch of feed. Very undulating spinifex country, and no place that would hold water, even after rain, for more than a day or two. Steered north for a few miles, and then North-West for twenty miles, thence West-South-West to camp, which we reached after dark, not having had any water for ourselves or horses since we left it yesterday morning. The weather was very warm, and our horses were done up when they reached camp. On our return we got a fine view to the North-East, which looks more promising. |
