Started back to meet the party, intending to await their arrival at the first range we came to on our outward track.

Steering a little north of west for fourteen miles, we camped on west side of Mount Harvest, not having seen a drop of water on our way.

Luckily we brought nearly half a gallon with us, so shall be able to manage until the party overtake us to-morrow.

Our horses will be very thirsty, but I will give them five gallons each out of the drums.
Shot a wurrung on our way, which we had for dinner.

Found two fine rock holes quite empty.
