Pierre shot an emu, and the others shot several pigeons.

This is a splendid spot; emus and kangaroos numerous, pigeons and birds innumerable, literally covering the entire surface all round the place in the evenings.

We have been living on game ever since we have been here.
Intend taking a flying trip to-morrow; party to follow on our tracks on Tuesday.
