(Cheers.) At the present time the immense country was occupied by 2,000,000 people, and we could not with that number get on.

What we wanted was more population.

What were the products which Australia could produce?
First of all was wheat--the best in the world.

Then there were wine and wool, and lead, and gold, and copper, tin, and sugar.
