It was comforting to us to meet with two such pious, humble-minded Christians, laboring diligently to forward the cause of religion.

They kindly offered us their chapel for the evening, and after the meeting they both expressed much satisfaction in having been favored with such an opportunity.

15 .-- We arrived pretty early at Machynlleth, which is a clean little town.

We did not know but that we might have proceeded on our journey after having refreshed ourselves and our horses; but, E.D.

feeling much interested for the people of the town, it seemed best to have a meeting with them.
