1-3, which introduces names so entirely unknown to the rest of the evangelical tradition as Joanna and Susanna [Endnote 215:1].

A trace of the same, or an allied document, appears in chap.

xxiv, where we have again the name Joanna, and afterwards that of the obscure disciple Cleopas.

Again, the mention of Martha and Mary is common only to St.Luke and the fourth Gospel.
