You may depend on it.

England has injured us sorely and our Non-Intercourse is a just retaliation for those wrongs.

Perhaps you will believe what is said in some of the Federal papers that that measure has no effect on this country.

You may be assured the effects are great and severe; I am myself an eye-witness of the effects.

The country is in a state of rebellion from literal starvation.
