"Beast! Why, that's my dog Toto, an' he's the kindest dog in all the world.

Toto knows a good many things, too; 'most as much as I do, I guess." "Why doesn't he say anything ?" asked Bungle.
"He can't talk, not being a fairy dog," explained Dorothy.
