Windsor would have been more suspicious. P.752._Burnet_, doubting of the legitimacy of the Pretender, and describing the Queen's manner of lying-in, says:--The Queen lay all the while a-bed: And, in order to the warming one side of it, a warming-pan was brought.
But it was not opened, that it might be seen that there was fire and nothing else in it .-- _Swift_.
