Mitra and Varuna met her, and said: 'Who art thou ?' 'Manu's daughter,' said she.

'Say ours,' said they.

'No,' said she; 'I am my father's.' They wanted part in her.

She agreed to this, and she did not agree; but she went by them and came to Manu.

Said Manu: 'Who art thou ?' 'Thy daughter,' said she.
