As I have stated, one was acquitted and the others were found guilty, and sentenced to be imprisoned.

In accordance with his promise made to Father White, Colonel Turner offered to relieve them all of the imprisonment if they would sign an undertaking in Court not to repeat the offence.

Ten, the most prosperous and substantial of the accused, accepted this offer and signed, as has been already stated.
