HIPPOCRATES AND THE HIPPOCRATIC WRITINGS DESERVEDLY the foundation of Greek Medicine is associated with the name of Hippocrates, a native of the island of Cos; and yet he is a shadowy personality, about whom we have little accurate first-hand information.
