Considerable difficulty was had in finding him.

He was just a wee bit tipsy when he got here at eight o'clock.

Mrs.Thorpe did not see him, although Murray went to her room to tell her of his arrival.

Young Mr.Tresslyn was in Mr.Thorpe's room for ten or fifteen minutes, and then left the house in a great hurry, sir.
