I would not own it, I was always bitter against him, but it was my fault.
I did not mean to work, and tie myself to an office stool: I had the chance, but I wanted to travel and see the world.

It was not lack of means that parted us.

I said a few minutes ago that it had been the only obstacle to our marriage, and your eyes dropped.

You have known better all the time, but you wouldn't say.

All these years I have put it down to that.
