The Day of God The word "Day" in such phrases as "Day of God" and "Last Day" is interpreted as meaning "Dispensation." Each of the great religion-founders has His "Day." Each is like a sun.

His teachings have their dawn, their truth gradually illumines more and more the minds and hearts of the people until they attain the zenith of their influence.

Then they gradually become obscured, misrepresented and corrupted, and darkness overshadows the earth until the sun of a new day arises.
