In the afternoon you are to hang something out of your window; not far, but so that it can be just seen from the street.

That red sash of yours will do very well.

Do not let it go more than an inch or two beyond the window sill, so that it will not attract any attention.
"When the clock strikes ten, Garcia and I will be in the street below that window.

This is a quiet neighbourhood, and no one is likely to be about.

Garcia will have a suit of muleteer's clothes for you, and you can change at once.
