Another forward pass to Captain Miller gained five.
Norton plunged at the line for three and Kendall failed to gain.

With the ball on Claflin's twenty-two yards Williams went back.

It was a fake, however, Marvin taking the ball for a straight plunge through centre, which gave Brimfield first down on Claflin's eighteen.

Norton plugged the centre for two and Kendall swept around the Blue's left end for three more.
