Beaman made some photographs in the morning, and we began to work the boats down along the edge of the rapid beside which we had camped.

This took us till noon, and we had dinner before venturing on.

When we set forth we had good luck, and soon put four rapids behind, running the first, letting down past two and running the fourth which was a pretty bad one.

Three-quarters of a mile of smooth water then gave us a respite much appreciated, when we arrived at a wild descent about as bad as Disaster Falls, though more safely approached.

This was called Triplet Falls by the first party.
